I tell you why Sri Rama mandira is required in each village today. Three generations ago , SriRama Mandira was built in our village where my forefathers were born . Three generations have tirelessly worked keeping this sankalpa and worshipped Srirama before shifting to Mysore in my generation. Even today after 110 yrs to the small mandira, pooje is going on and I personally went to attend the yearly event of Srirama pattabhisheka. Looking at all my relatives and elder's commitment , My dream for Srirama Mandira in Ramjanmabhoomi grew year on year reminding us the tasks on hand to fulfill social responsibility that our family stood very firmly.
Sri Rama Pattabhisheka is the biggest event of the year for us even today. Bigger Sankalpa from this one small village of Karnataka is always SriRama Mandira construction in Ramajanmabhoomi in Ayodhya, Uttara Pradesha of Bharat.
Three generations have passed but sankalpa remained and I am alive today to witness the Bhoomi Pooje in RamaJanmabhoomi. Isn't it fulfilled ? Justice will be done if we are truthful to protect the dharma as it says Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah.
Even in USA where I live , there are over 22 registered temples in small towns just in 50 mile radius. Each one of them have put sankalpa that Srirama Mandira is built in Ramjanmabhoomi . All obstacles will vanish for sure if Srirama himself wishes to be built. We only have to show willingness and commitment, thats all.
Time has come and this is what we have witnessed in TV. Entire Indian community is thrilled to say the least though there is pandemic everywhere they decided to light a lamp and celebrate the festival today as there is Guru Raghavendra Swamy Aradhane also being celebrated today in entire USA. Though we are not able to visit temple due to restrictions, we are all celebrating at home.
Gayathri japa was performed for inner power.
Guru Vandane performed to get the grace of Guru.
Guru Ashtottara performed to realize the value of Guru to earn the grace and gratitude.
Ganapathi Atharva Shreesha is chanted to remove the obstacles for building the temple in Ayodhya.
Rama Ashtottara is performed to understand his values on daily basis.
Hanuman Chalisa chanted to realize we need to be true servers . Leaders are good servers that can be learnt from Hanuman who hailed from today's Karnataka .
Vishnu Sahasranama chanted as Srirama is avatara of Vishnu in human form.
Rudra is chanted to dissolve this energy ( when time is up ) as yoga purusha like how Shiva himself is.
If we need to encapsulate the qualities of Sri Rama , Srirama is the one who had absolute passion for everything but total dispassion for the self. As a king he is for total wellbeing of his people. Even if it comes to self sacrifice he is upfront and ready to sacrifice if it was required within his family.
No matter where we are and what we do , we need to emulate these qualities of SriRamachandra Prabhu to grow as wise human being.
For every other life , he used to care . He had to kill Ravana for his bad quality since he abducted Seeta maate, he later went to penance to punish himself as he has killed Mahabrahmana who possessed atma linga from Shiva through his hard work and relentless worship on Shiva.
Primary source -Valmiki ji wrote in his Ramayana and called him "Maryada purushtothama " which means amongst men he is the best who has evolved completely.
SriRama's principles are guiding light not only for Bharateeyas but also for the humanity at large. We remember and do sashtanga namaskara to the efforts and sacrifices by our ancestors and leaders from various walks of life who took it up as personal objective to build mandira and gave up their lives (more than 3 lakh people in total who gave up life )
We recognize everyone's effort today and do namaskaras. Jai Shri Rama
