1) We learnt shloka 6 7 8 9 and 10 - Single line proficiency achieved. Need repetition couple of more times.

2) We learnt the meaning ( Bhavartha ) for Shloka 2 and 3 today.

Key highlights : Parabrahma = Purusha+Prakruthi

Purusha in purusha sukta is always referred to Parabrahma ( Gender Independant )

During the times of Veda, all suktas were referred to Parabrahma ( manifestation names came later )

Shrishti (Brahma), Sthiti (Vishnu) and Laya ( Shiva ) are the 3 main GuNas within oneself.

GuNas = Rajas ( 4/13) , Sathva( 7/13) , Tamas( 1/13)

All three are required in Kaliyuga for Grihasta. 

Ex : If you make a chapati 13 pieces, 7 of them should be Satva guNa.

Soundarya Lahari is for the Prakruthi or Maye as per my understanding.

This is our best opportunity to learn about Parabrahma jnaana (Avyakta entity whom we call Vishnu, Shiva or Adi Shakti) by asking questions. Feel free to ask questions and use this time to clarify.

Story recollected : Sarpa ( Serpent ) could not function in the world by sacrificing its guNa . Had he hiss at least, it would have survived.

Brahmana is one who go after jnaana of Parabrahma .
