Whatever you see in this world, all pervaded by the Lord, Not only pervaded , Vaasyam - it means to pervade it, recognize the existing reality. There is an underlying reality, Existence, consciousness and bliss right here, Recognize it. How ?

Example: When you see waves in an ocean, comes up at sometime and disappears.Each wave is different from the other waves but all the waves are water. As water pervades all the waves , as the table chairs are all wood, wood pervades all the wood items like chairs tables. Similarly as Gold pervades all ornaments, similarly there is one existence and conciousness which pervades all of us. Every existence in this world is pervaded by one reality. Swamy Vivekananda says recognize the reality.

There are two extremes who might miss their way. Those who feel I shall cut myself off from this life and return to the Himalyan cave to meditate, to be in samadhi there and to give up the body there, Ignoring the world has missed the way.

Those who do many plunges headlong into the enjoyments of the world , He too has missed the way.

Two extremes, Ignoring the world many altogether trying to find the one apart from the many , the other one Ignoring the one in the material world as it is and diving deep into the wordly enjoyment , make merry as long as life lasts .

Swamy Vivekananda says both these extremes have missed their way.

Then what is the way ?

Answer : In a number of place, Swamy Vivekananda says from Vedanta that the way out is defy the world . Mark the words ...Defy the world - Here is the world before you. See Brahman in this world , brahman is appearing which is the ultimate reality , one reality is appearing as many realities before you.

Swamiji says to be religious one need not abandon husband wife and children, they can very much remain but important thing is to see the God in Husband ,Wife and Children.
