RamaNa Maharshi in his poorvashrama as VenkataramaNa of 16 year old decided to live here on the hill once he had near death experience when he was 16 year old in 1895 and went onto live in the body until April , 1950. He always asked us to question "Who am I " deeply everyday.
On the day of karthika pornime, we as a family did parikrama of the entire hill in barefoot last year. Its about 14.5 kms in distance.
