Someone had a post like this without understanding sanatana dharma jnaana path :
Today, went to a crematorium for the cremation of my friend's mother. She loved us all for nearly 4 decades! I have eaten at their house many times. It was very sad to see all the uncontrollable tears before the parthiva sharira is taken in the ambulance. Emotional day..
This is my sixth visit to a cremation or burial place over the past couple of years. Every time it's very difficult to watch the families bereaving. Seeing total strangers like auto rickshaw drivers do namaste to a passing body, makes me believe that our samskara is very grounded and strong. People behave extremely well when there is a death in the family or neighbourhood. It brings the most polite, compassionate and decent aspect out of them.
Finally after giving shoulder till the final electric furnace, I had one question to the staff there. How many minutes here? Usually the log fired cremation takes up to 2 hours. But this is state of the art facility.
He said 40 minutes. Then 20 more minutes for ashes in the numbered sacred pot.
That's it friends.. all our existence on this planet takes just 40 minutes in the crematorium.. It was a philosophical moment for me, yet again. We fight so much for ideologies, countries, religions, castes, languages, states, cities, designations and what not.. But at the end, we take nothing with is.
Just 40 minutes.. That's all it takes!
Let's spread love and make every minute useful for us, others and the planet. Life is fragile and yet precious.

I understand the emotions . But Please store this information for your record to take it to next level. Adishankaracharyaru whom we consider the greatest scholar of 8th century in his Bhaja Govindam has clearly written - Punarapi Jananam punarapi maranam - Consciousness what we call Atma is one and it is eternal. It will never die but it appears as jeevatma in a body empowered with mind as objects of it. It takes birth again in different form and name when jeevatma leaves.Body and mind both are physical in nature which we gained from earth as loan and give it back or nature takes back its loan after some time ( say 100 yrs for manushya janma ). We are eternal in other words consciousness is eternal as we do not consider body and mind are eternal objects of us the consciousness which is sat chit ananda, thats why we give death as good example always as we see ourselves body ages out every single day and so as the mind which loses its sharpness. This is why we say Karma has phala . Whether we do good karma or bad karma , both has phala. When one gains enormous jnaana through Jnaana path or Jnaana yoga , Other two paths are are( Karma Yoga and Bhakti yoga) with single minded focus and determination, there is a chance to raise above and break the circle of life and death which we call moksha. It does not matter how much Karma we do with devotion , awareness of chitta the consciousness is the key. Thats why they say even if we sit and do Idol worship , do with bhaavane so that chitta shuddi happens daily if we are at it . If we are very strict and show dedication at this, there is a good chance to raise above and touch the consciousness within which we call turiya in Vedanta , the 4th state of samadhi. In this state we have body and mind intact and I can have different experiences which I would not usually have in other 3 states called Awakening state , sleep state or dream state. This comes after many many janmas from mothers womb. Thats why ours is a dharma and not a religion which western world forced upon us and religion word cannot be the equivalent english word for dharma. No way, we do not accept.
Sanantana means one which is eternal yet ancient and proven as highest science as it has scietific way to explain details in Advaita phylosophy. This is the reason many study Advaita through vedanta society which Swami Vivekanada has established in USA in 1889 or through Chinmaya mission or Arsha Vidya or many such institutions in USA to understand Vedanta of Shankara Bhaashya ( Bhagavadgeete , Upanishads and Brahmasutras ). I am a student of Advaita Vedanta myself from the last 22 yrs I personally came across more than 500 students in USA who are seekers and we need to seek this ultimate truth or knowledge which Vedanta provides. 18 Adyayas of Bhagavadgeete is the first book to read and understand ( has to be shakara bhaashya )with the help of Guru. Krishna clearly tells this to Arjuna in Geete and interpretations are many but follow Shankara siddanta to get to this jnaana paath. Om Tatsat - Krishnarpanamastu 🙏
